Happy Holidays

Thankfully, Fab.com has introduced us to

Fed up with a bullying boss, Julie Jackson took to a cross-stitch, emblazoning it with her favorite expletive. When others sought this fresh form of therapy, she created DIY kits that are now sold globally through Subversive Cross Stitch, and have appeared in Lucky, NYLON, and more. While running a one-woman brand, Jackson has published a book of her original designs.

Architectural Lingerie

NICHOLEDECARLE

The OPAL Collection Story is inspired by exquisite architectural masterpiece icons located in fashion & historic capitals of the world: The Duomo - Milan, Westminster Abbey - London, and the Chrysler building - New York, Chateau de Villette- Paris. Drawing on the design, mystery, elegance and sophistication of these buildings the Opal range brings together its symmetry of bold and delicate lines with enthralling effect.
The ONYX Collection Story draws inspiration from Dan Brown’s ‘The Da Vinci Code’. Focusing on architecture in the book, and the essence of mystery behind the story, the collection captures the seductive mystic built into the story of the search for the secrets of the Holy Grail. Symbolic meanings hidden withinpaintings and gloriously coded architecture form the basis of the styles of the Onyx range with exceptional design. The last collection is influenced by a painting in the Louvre’s Plafond de la Rotonde d’Apollon.
The fact the literature, history and architecture inspire Nichole de Carle enlightens me.
How can it not rock your world.
