Then Skully walks through the door with the sun shinning in the back of him. He sets a Mountain Dew down in my booth and says to me... "Get some energy." I sit down, slouching in my chair and stair at the soda thinking about how displeased I am... cause I'm overworked; How distressed I am... cause I'm worn out and how exasperated I am... cause its all indeed played out. I take the first sip of my drink and begin to hear the music in the background. It slowly gets louder and I closed my eyes. I hear the voices of the Cunninlynguists and Pack FM.
The song "Hypnotized" from Strange Journey Volume One is tastefully playing upfront. The corners of my lips I swear had to touch my cheekbones. With a smirk and smile on my face I took a deep breath in and then out releasing my shoulders to rest. I hear the door open again and I open my eyes, walk up to the front and greet the customer. The music is booming more loud and clear. Skully's bumpin behind the desk, and I cant resist moving either.
My mood was real rude. "I love me job."
It's amazing what good music can do to your attitude.
