The Beat of Urban Art

I heart Justin Bua.
Every viewer can get a piece of culture and Urban Realism through this hip hop heads work. Through his distorted characters, Justin Bua creates a positive energy that flows with darker color tones and sets the mood. Emerging to the surface, he portrays stories of his life and invites us all in to relate to the passion, soul, and inspiration that drives him.
He represents a movement. His hip hop appeal is unique, stylish, and arresting. Justin Bua is the shit.
Can you feel it?

Are You for Real?

Dear Kool Fool,

As we all know, Megan Fox is ridiculously good looking, has some sense of style and some lovely tattoos. What we did not know is... that it is possible to airbrush the way Ms. Fox does in the movie Transformers?
What the shit?
That movie sucked.
Sincerely,
Shugar

I Know You Hear It, but... Can You Feel It?

I remember the first time I put these on my ears. It was a year ago in fact, I was in the apple store in the mall. I went there to replace my laptop charger and got a little sidetracked. There they were... the Monster Beats by Dr. Dre, sitting on the table with a sample ipod. My eyes were drawn straight in and I picked them up. As they comfortably gripped my ears, I grabbed the ipod and started browsing through songs. The sound was incredible, it's high-definition was crisp and clear. Standing alone in the store, I shut my eyes and felt the music. 5 minutes later, the sales clerk was tapping on my shoulder asking if I needed any help. I just smiled and replied, " No thank you, this is all I need." I walked up to the check-out line and was about to purchase these bad boys when I then got a glance of the price. $350.00.... REALLY? I thought to myself I better go home and do my research. I left the Apple store empty handed even forgetting my charger... Real Nice.
The reviews other people have on Beats by Dre are 50/50. Majority state that they are good headphones but not fair enough for the price. It has been a year and the price has dropped 100 bones at most places. Think its worth it now!?

Oh but wait....
Lady Gaga came out with Heart Beats! A fashionista sista with the same high-quality sound... hmm... This may be my shit.

Do You Know Your Rights?

Ken & Dana Design
Mmmmmhmmm. Now, this is some jewelry that intrigues me.Creating both jewelry for men and women, Ken & Dana believe that art in all forms tells a story. I do too, to say the least. It was said in their vision statement that "particular jewelry have long been vessels of showcasing wealth and social standing". This is so true as you stare at the lady in the checkout line that is blinding you with her 5k engagement ring. Watch out, shit gets deep when Ken & Dana bring you their art which goes far and beyond simplistic forms of expression. Ken & Dana intended to "connect with viewers on an emotional level as well as an aesthetic one."
And that my friends, is exactly what they are doing in their B-side Line-Jewelry remixed: Rights, Graffiti and Geometry.
RIGHTS
"This series uses four landmark civil rights case ID numbers as it’s voice. We are drawn to numbers that can evoke emotion and carry such significance and meaning. Initially cryptic these four groupings of numbers and letters remind us all to fight injustice. "
517 U.S. 620 1996 – Romer v. Evans – protects against discrimination by sexual orientation.
258 U.S. 130 1922 – Leser v. Garnett – upholds 19th amendment – Women’s right to vote.
347 U.S. 483 1954 – Brown v. Board of Education – desegregates schools.
388 U.S. 1 1967 – Loving v. Virgina – legalizes interracial marriage.
GEOMETRY
"While exploring New York’s Street art for our Graffiti series we drawn to the significance of what was written on as much as the writing itself. That relationship between graffiti and NY’s buildings was the inspiration for our "geometry" series. "
GRAFFITI "Inspired by the raw expression and rebellious nature of this controversial art form we have created a series of works that emulate different writing styles, abstract NYC walls, and highlight the illegal aspect of Graffiti."

"It is art that makes life, makes interest, makes importance... and I know of no substitute whatever for the force and beauty of its process."
- Henry James

Abridgment of Self-Constraint

Will Power
–noun
1. control of one's impulses and actions; self-control.
or
2. The strength of will to carry out one's decisions, wishes, or plans.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I do believe that I am a strong woman. I do believe that I have the strength to achieve my goals and be successful in conclusion. I do believe that I accomplish my plans.
When it comes to work I am disciplined, concentrated, systematic and skillful... but when it comes to shoes and candy I have no will power.

Yesterday was again day one which I had failed. I had made it till 6:30pm where I then indulged in chocolate from the FreshMarket followed by ice cream topped with m&m's, hot fudge and nutella.

Another act lacking self control occurred yesterday was when I thought I needed a pair of winter boots. I gave in to some BCBG's. On impulse, my hands reached for these boots. I saw a glow around them as the surrounding background was blurred. I felt the soft leather of these eye rendering pull-on boots and abruptly grabbed them off the shelf. The lining stitch was clean and uninterrupted and with the round toe and 4-1/4" stacked cone heel they screamed keep me.

Yes, sometimes, I do lack repression of thy self.

Real Talk: No Photoshop

At the age of 35, Liu Bolin from China is called the "Invisible man". This man started to use his art to protest against government actions after they shut down his art studio 4 years ago. "Its about not fitting into modern society," and that's why Liu manages to blend in to a picture by painting himself in camouflage to match his surroundings.
Very Cool.

I Stole $100 from Stephen Dorff.

In response to Kool Fool ...
Please press pause on my bear Suri in the upper right hand corner and then continue to thoroughly read and watch the videos posted.
Long Story Short.
Stephen Dorff makes me sick to say the least. Haha for real.

Yeah, hes fun to party with for the first 20 minutes but then whoah, Stephen doesn't get his way, beware!
For this is really what you will see.. I did and I was scared.
He is filled with so much hostility and anger and needs to seek some serious therapy for his inadequate and deplorable behavior.

He expects people to kiss his shoes like hes some kind of king, good for nothing wasted space fool that likes to have his cake and eat it too.
After his pitiful temper tantrums, you may get the chance to hear this pathetic child struggle for a comeback... I did and I was scared.

Amusing, Right?
He scared me not once but twice...
But, my friends sure did get a kick out of Stephen Dorffs number and got the chance to relive their youth enjoying prank phone calls.
Funny shit.
and...
Yes, I stole his bus fare.
hahahaha.

Apparently, I am not a law abiding citizen.

As so he says...

7:26 am this is what I get...
My led foot has got me into trouble before but this is absolutely rediculous.  Driving this morning was dumb dumb dumb. When a cop asked you why you are speeding, you usually want to reply with some kindof good excuse. Maybe along the lines: Well you see I'm late for work and the other employee on was just rushed to the hospital or ... I think im having a child or... something really is wrong at home, I need to get there immidiately or... if you really want to get out of it... talk about some personal issues and you need to get to a restroom asap... haha. And of course all these excuses pop into my head but when a cop asks me why Im speeding... I reply with a blank stare. I got nothing. Not one word but a shake of my head. I see him mean muggin me and my stomach drops. I know this is going to be bad. He grabs my liscense from me and heads back to his car while I sit there waiting to see what the damage is.
About a year ago I had got pulled over in the exact same place. It was bad just like today... My ticket was expensive and my points were high. A lawyer had to write some good words for me to get my points reduced but my insurance still went up. Thats another issue. My insurance company was just talking about how that ticket is dropped soon and the fees are going to be a lot less... Well now that I had to go out and do wrong... I have to pay the price... the price of my ticket, the price of a lawyer to keep my points, and the price of my insurance when it rockets.

Boooooo to my life this morning.

There will be a fundraiser going on and it would be great for you to participate.

Whoah. GooooodNight....

Tokidoki x Karl Lagerfeld.

Simone Legno... Mmhmmm... Boy, you know whats good.

Immortalizing Mr. Lagerfeld to vinyl in which he stands 10 inches tall,  in skinny black suit, rhinestone-studded tie and belt, and don’t-mess-with-me sunglasses – all from his own K Karl Lagerfeld Collection is surely a entertaining and diverting delight. Dropping a little later this month, only 1000 figurines made, set at 265 bones, exclusively at Colette; this collectors item is one to hail.

Who needs a Man when you can have Louboutin's

Christian Louboutin. Mmmmmmm.

Think of the film, "RocknRolla", where Thandie Newton (wearing a pair of Louboutin's) is walking away from Gerard Butler and he says... "Nice shoes by the way." She replies... "Thank you. You will be able to afford a pair of your own in a couple of days." referring to a multi million pound robbery they are about to commit.
Exciting. Dangerous. Delicious.
Born in 1964, Christian Louboutin is a high-end footwear designer and maybe considered a god for some. He had began his ventures in France and later moved into the US creating quite a stir. It has been said that Christian Louboutin has been inspired by the show girls which he skipped out of school to watch at age 12.

"The showgirls influenced me a lot. If you like high heels, it's really the ultimate high heel - it's all about the legs, how they carry themselves, the embellishment of the body. They are the ultimate icons." - Christian Louboutin

Hellz Bellz Tee - http://www.karmaloop.com/
Many of his heels top 4.72in accomplishing a lethal look. These heels are designed to show the women's legs for days without question. With Louboutins signature red leather sole and sharp stiletto, any woman is sure to feel sexy, beautiful, and on top of her game.

How do you make your entrance?
